I read the script for The Babysitter when it was on the Black List a few years ago. I enjoyed the script, and the movie was pretty much identical to what I read. I liked it a lot.

I'm divided. Really wanted to cut its jugular vein for trying to be too clever. I felt like it was about 5 years too late for the grindhouse revival. I did stay for the scene during the credits on this one.

The Amityville Horror remake is superior to the original. It would have been even better of Brolin's son took the role his dad played.

But I'm cool with Deadpool, too. I always liked him.

Holy fuck, I just realized Chloë Moretz played the little sister in this.

I'm watching the Shawnee Smith remake of The Blob, and as soon as they hit the hobo who has the blob stuck to his hand, I realized this is I Know What You Did Last Summer, only these teens took the hobo to the hospital.

Still didn't end up good for anybody. Damned if you do, yo.

I just watched Count Dracula's Great Love. I want to move back to the olden times when all the women slept naked, waiting for you to sex them.

The Rezort (Netflix)

AR don't watch this. It's zombie and I don't want to hear about it anymore. For anyone else (and AR if you're curious) The Rezort is essentially Jurassic Park but with zombies. It also makes no sense at all. The world suffered a zombie apocalypse, but humans won. They rounded up all the remaining zombies and put them on this island, that was then turned into a high priced resort for rich people where they can go to hunt them. And then like in Jurassic Park they get loose and all hell breaks loose.

The thing is, if there had been a zombie apocalypse, but humans won, pretty much every surviving human would've been a part of it, and likely killed at least one zombie for survival. So, why would rich people go pay to hunt them, when they likely have had their fill of killing them during the apocalypse when they did it for free. The setup makes zero sense. So, for me, the rest of the film falls apart.

That said, I believe this is a British film, and it's a British resort, so I imagine this would be a place that DJ would go to for holiday, but he'd still just eat and sit by the pool the entire time.

This isn't passive aggressive, all things considered, but I wish you reviewed more.

That would've been awesome! And you could get Martha Plimpton to play the wife and also do it as the long awaited Goonies sequel.
